Description

The Naomi Family Program provides single women or women with up to 5 children (ages 10 and under) safe shelter, food, basic needs and holistic support. Each woman is supported by a caring staff team as they create an Individual Support Plan focusing on five key areas—Faith, Community, Wellbeing, Income and Housing. Women and children have access to the following wrap-around support to empower them in their journey toward safe and stable lives:
Food and shelter—Single women and mothers with children stay in our safe housing where we provided them with nutritious meals and other basic needs resources.
Mental health services—Women and children receive professional counseling through individual and/or group therapy. Trauma-informed case managers and therapists guide women and their children as they make progress toward hope and healing.
Chemical health support—A licensed alcohol and drug counselor offers support in women’s chemical health journey.
Faith—Through biblical classes, devotions and support from chaplains, women and children learn about the grace and love of Jesus.
Education and job-skills training—Women can receive education and training through classes in life skills, finance and job skills. Women can get their GED if needed and are mentored as they set the foundation for successful employment and/or career readiness.
Licensed Child Care: Our 4-Star Parent Aware and NAEYC accredited licensed childcare provides high-quality preschool early education for children ages six weeks-kindergarten while moms work towards their goals.
School-age children receive support from our children's case manager to ensure they are enrolled in and attending school.
