Description

Our Vision
A community where everyone has safety, stability, love, health, and home.

Our Mission
To provide day shelter, resources, emotional support, and community connections to women, children, and marginalized genders experiencing homelessness and poverty.

Rose Haven is the only day shelter and community center specifically serving women, children, trans and nonbinary folks in Portland. As night shelters are at capacity, our low-barrier drop-in model bridges the gaps in services. For many women and children, we are the first step in asking for help and starting to heal.

Intake Requirements

We are a low barrier center and no not require ID or sobriety to enter. You must simply abide by our community agreements to be respectful and nonviolent in our communal space.
