CLIENT SERVICES:

We want to help transition those experiencing homelessness into permanent, self-sustaining living by building a personal connection with each of these individuals. We aim to improve the individual’s housing, health status, and social support network. We are knowledgeable of the resources and services available in this sector and surrounding regions that are applicable to these individuals and inform them of these opportunities. We also have a street outreach vehicle that allows us to help homeless individuals in Brownsville that are unable to visit our facilities by taking our services to them. Example of services provided: resume building, applying for benefits, case management, job search, hygiene kits, and snack bags.

MESA LLENA FOOD BANK:
Mesa Llena is a Community Food Project of Good Neighbor Settlement House. Mesa Llena is a client choice pantry providing a variety of food options with access to fresh produce and healthy food choices. Good Neighbor Settlement House wishes to provide better options for the community for better nutrition and better health. Mesa Llena also features an on-site demo kitchen for nutrition classes and a community garden.

Mesa Llena Hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Friday: 9 am - 12 pm & 1 pm – 3:30 pm
Wednesdays: Closed
Thursdays 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Saturday & Sunday: Closed
