Emergency Housing
New Generation offers emergency shelter, food and access to basic necessities for pregnant women and mothers of small children facing homelessness, and otherwise may have nowhere else to go.
We connect them to a supportive group setting that promotes a strong sense of community and accountability.
The services covered under Emergency Housing are:
24/7 shelter and support staff
Food and transportation
Intensive case management
Individual and group parenting counseling
Housing search, applications and follow up
Life-skills coaching
Financial Counseling
Transitional Housing:
New Generations transitional apartments provide temporary housing (up to 24 months) to women and children facing difficult transitions. Candidates must be working or going to school, and have their own transportation.
Services under Transitional Housing include:
